The resort is part of the large Franco-Swiss ski area of the Portes du Soleil, offering many fun and natural itineraries among the fir trees with more than 650 km of slopes. With a remarkable snow cover from December to April, the streets are literally ski or sled runs for the pleasure of visitors. 

The resort is accessible from Morzine via a cable car, the Podain Express, and many horse-drawn carriages are available to discover the unique wooden architecture of the resort.

It is possible to ski to the cute little village of Lindarets (the village of goats) in the beautiful Combe à Fleuret which is worth a look. 
 

Avoriaz is a major freestyle area with its famous and unmissable The Stash which offers many wooden modules accessible to all levels in the beautiful forest of Lindarets. A children's area is available with adapted modules with kickers, boxes, slides and even a tree house. A magical world awaits you in these woods. 

Many snowparks are also available for backflips and 360's lovers with the Snowparks of Arare and La Chapelle. There is even a real superpipe like at the Xgames for the most daring.

A beautiful beginner sector in the forest with a breathtaking view of the Morzine valley is available at the start of the resort.

Avo, as the locals call it, is also Nordic skiing with more than 40 km of cross-country trails to admire the view and stroll in the forest.
