Discover the resort : Les Rousses

Renowned for being a nature destination, the resort has been awarded the "Flocon vert" label, which rewards mountain villages that are committed to a policy of sustainable development.

The alpine ski area has no less than 50 km of runs for all levels of ability, ranging from 1090 m to 1678 m in altitude. With more than 56 trails and thirty lifts, the area extends over 3 sectors, the Serra, the Noirmont and as far as Switzerland on the sector of La Dôle accessible via Les Tuffes in France.  There are magnificent slopes through the forests for all levels with a grandiose view of the Mont-Blanc and the Alps. 

Les Rousses also offers freestyle areas such as boardercross and a giant airbag.

Nordic paradise

When you think of Les Rousses, you think of Nordic skiing with its huge cross-country skiing area of more than 200 km with more than 20 trails. It is one of the largest in France, crossing the magnificent Haut-Jura Natural Park and offering grandiose landscapes. This is where the mythical cross-country ski race, the TransJurassienne, takes place every winter in February with more than 4000 cross-country skiers.  
 
A real natural and authentic paradise, which offers you a wonderful playground for snowshoeing with more than 55km of itineraries available.

The mythical Fort des Rousses, the second largest fortress in France, is a place where the Jura cheese par excellence, the Comté, is matured.
