The ski area of Lioran oscillates between 1160 m and 1850 m of altitude on the Volcano of Cantal (one of the biggest in Europe).

With more than 60 km of skiing for 44 alpine ski slopes for all levels with the Buron du Baguet and Puy Masseboeuf sectors adapted to beginners and the Plomb du Cantal sector rather reserved for good skiers. 

A special beginner's area on the snow front with mats is also available.  During the school vacations, it is also possible to ski at night on 2 ski runs until 20H30. 

The resort also has a snowpark with various modules (Kicks, Rails, Wall, etc...) and also Big Air Bag on its snow front to initiate you to freestyle tricks.

You can also practice Nordic ski touring or snowshoeing.
