Discover the resort : Barèges

Barèges forms with the neighboring resort of La Mongie, the ski area of Grand Tourmalet with more than 100 kilometers of slopes oscillating between 1400 and 2500 meters of altitude. It is the largest ski area of the French Pyrenees.

More than 68 slopes are waiting for you on the domain adapted to the beginners with beautiful forest slopes and for the more confirmed, direction the Pic du Midi de Bigorre and its high mountain slopes.

Don't forget to admire the magnificent panorama at the top of the slopes on the Col du Tourmalet side and the Ayré on the Barèges side.


The Pic du Midi is accessible from the cable car of La Mongie, it will offer you free skiing at 2877 m of altitude.

The resort offers a freestyle zone "Le park des Etoiles" for all levels with a modern snowpark containing numerous modules but also a beautiful boardercross.

A short tour of the Lienz plateau

A little corner of paradise in the middle of the forest, the Lienz plateau is accessible by shuttle from the village. Perfect for snowshoeing! Don't forget to stop at Louisette's for some fabulous home-made Pyrenean dishes.
