The ESI in the station

The International Ski School of La Faucille-Mijoux-La Vattay is located at the Monts-Jura resort in La Faucille, France. Access is from the Col de La Faucille, on the RN5, between Les Rousses (Jura) and Gex (Ain).

Our reception office is located in the shopping center of La Faucille. Our receptionist Claudine is at your disposal to inform you about the services offered by the E.S.I. de la Faucille and to answer your questions. Open every day from 8:30 am to 5 pm

Learning Stage

Learning Stage

It is located in front of the Mini-Champions' large reception chalet. The learning ground is a prepared stadium with a variety of courses, prepared for the different levels of skiing of the students and maintained daily. It is equipped with 4 snow wires.

Students practice on the course until they are able to control their speed and direction in order to follow a group on the slopes safely. The stadium includes a technical area specially designed for the Maxi-Champions to warm up before going on the slopes.

    Classic or skating

    Whether it be the classic technique or skating we are here to provide for all your needs: from learning the
    basic skills necessary to enjoy a gentle ski outing to the quest for high level sporting performance.

    - CLASSIC is the original technique; it’s like walking with the addition of a gliding movement. Both skis stay
    parallel facing the direction of travel. This is the technique generally preferred by beginners as it is easier to
    learn than skating and is a more natural movement.

    - SKATING is more like roller or ice skating with a side to side movement. This technique is much more
    demanding physically than classic but ultimately allows the skier to go faster.

    PRICES: 1 hour | 1h30 | 2 hours
    • 1 pers : 50€ | 75€ | 100€
    • 2 pers : 60€ | 90€ | 120€
    • 3 pers : 70€ | 105€ | 140€

    10% discount for the class from 4 to 5pm.

    • Pack of 5 lessons : 225€
