I am passionate about off-piste snowboarding and splitboarding. I have more than 20 years of off-piste snowboarding experience in all parts of the Alps and beyond.  I have ridden from the Mont Blanc to Ben Nevis (highest point in Scotland!).

Originally from Scotland, I have lived in Sainte Foy since 2007 and I know it like the back of my hand. There is ALWAYS good snow to be found in Sainte Foy, even if all the slopes visible from the lifts are overtraced. The off-piste area of Sainte Foy is much bigger than the marked area and, with a local professional, you can always find a line that is not marked or touched by the wind or the sun.

I also know very well the off-piste areas of Tignes, Val d'Isere, Les Arcs and La Rosiere.

I have been splitboarding for a long time (yes, even before the Jeremy Jones movies) and I love to take my clients to days away from the slopes and chairlifts. Splitboarding allows snowboarders to access areas otherwise reserved for ski touring, wilderness areas, away from it all, with virgin snow as a reward for their efforts. I can provide the necessary materials, such as Spark R & D bindings and Amplid and Burton splitboards.
